The accommodation and location
Nant y Rhedyn is just over half a mile from Newport Town centre, but you'd be hard pressed to believe so! The house and annex are set in their own grounds sheltered by trees that open up to reveal spectacular views over Newport Bay and the north Pembrokeshire countryside.
Inside the house, you'll discover fully modernised accommodation with throwbacks to the properties history. Bare, and painted timber, plus a wood burning stove in an inglenook are mixed with contemporary finishes.
Big, comfy sofas and chairs, a wood burner and a smart TV make the living area a cosy retreat at the end of the day or make for a great hidey-hole if the weather is wet and windy.
A good sized open plan kitchen / dining area with large sliding patio doors to the garden make up the majority of the remaining down stairs space. There's a large dining table with chairs for 10 to enjoy a feast whipped up in the fully fitted and functional kitchen
Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, and two bathrooms.
A further two double bedrooms - one with stunning views, and a shared bathroom can be found in the contemporary garden annex.
Outside, there are good sized garden areas with a patio area attached to the annex. A separate BBQ area near the kitchen of the main house, and there is light weight garden furniture which can be moved around to enjoy the best of the views.
Dogs are welcome to enjoy the garden areas at all times - all that's asked is that you clean up after them.
