Both kitchens are well equipped with all the utensils you'll need to rustle up a hearty meal. The vibrant town of Cardigan is just a few miles away with a good selection of independent food shops, plus two supermarkets to choose from. There are also a varied range of restaurants and takeaways if a night away from the stove is in order.

The farm is set in 200 acres. Some 30 of these are wooded valleys with access right from the doorsteps of both cottages. Wander around the farm to see the various animals being fed, or take a stroll across the fields - you may get to see foxes, squirrels, buzzards, and red kite amongst other wildlife that share this land. In springtime the woodlands are a carpet of Bluebells and other woodland flowers - take a picnic, sit alongside the stream, and soak up the bird song, it really is quite magical.

As earlier mentioned, Cardigan is just a few miles to the north, and alongside the shops and restaurants there is a cinema, a theatre, play area's for the children and also a skate park. On the opposite bank of the river to Cardigan is the village of St Dogmaels with a ruined Abbey, and also Poppit Sands with half a mile of sand, sea and dunes. The Preseli Hills are just 20 minutes by car, as is the bustling seaside town of Newport with a further two beaches.
