The accommodation and location
You'll be hard pressed to think you are in a bustling seaside town when you arrive at Cynefin - it's tucked away so perfectly. Just a handful of houses and a plethora of trees enjoy this little slice of Newport.
Enter through the front door to an open plan sitting and dining area which benefits from a wood burning stove and two traditionally styled sash windows which look out to the garden.
Children will delight in the fact that downstairs, in the twin bedroom, there is also a living area just for them - complete with table football and a second TV.
From the dining area, a few steps lead you down to the fully equipped kitchen, and with a double oven, microwave and gas fired hob, catering for family and friends is sure to be a doddle.
Upstairs there are two double en-suite bedrooms, both with king size beds - ideal to sleep away the hours of walking, water-sports, cycling or golfing you can find locally. There is also a separate toilet in the utility room.
As well as the table football and second TV, the third bedroom contains two single beds neatly tucked into the eaves and an en-suite with a bath and shower.
Outside, you'll discover a good sized south and west facing garden area to the fore of the property, affording a large grassy area and a terrace - both with garden furniture, and ideal for those al fresco evenings watching the sun setting over the town.
You'll also find space for a small trailer and boat / kayaks / bikes to the rear (there are launches at Parrog, Pwllgwaelod and Cwm-yr-Eglwys beaches), plus an outside tap for washing beach gear & wet suits etc...
There's an EV point too - powered by the rooftop solar panels.
Where is Cynefin?
Tucked away behind the town church and a stones throw from a Norman castle, just off a quiet no through lane that leads to Carningli - the mountain of Angels.
