The accommodation and location
Castle Reach is hidden away from the bustle of Newport, yet is just a few minutes walk to all the amenities the Town has to offer. There are also walks from the front door - uphill for Carningli Mountain and Common - down hill for the beaches and coastal path.
New for 2023 is a stunning timber frame conservatory with bifold doors to the front patio garden, providing a lovely light and open space where you can dine with views over the town, or just chill out on the comfy sofa with your favorite book.
Once inside the house, you'll discover light, airy and spacious rooms, decorated and furnished to a high standard. There's ample space for the whole family to relax in comfort.
A semi open-plan living room and dining area make up the bulk of the living space downstairs. There's a wood burner to warm you up through the winter months as well as gas central heating, plus all the mod cons you could need for your holiday in Newport.
The large dining area with ample seating is ideal for family meal times.
You'll also find a fully equipped kitchen with an American style fridge freezer, double oven with a warming draw, an induction hob, wine cooler and a boiling water tap, plus all the paraphernalia required to cook up a feast.
There is also a double bedroom plus a family bathroom on the ground floor.
Upstairs you'll find three light and airy bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms. There are two king size beds plus a third bedroom with 3 single beds.
Head outside and you'll discover two garden areas, one is enclosed via two gates and the other has an elevated patio area with views over the houses of Newport to the Bay and the picturesque Morfa headland (Pen Morfa in Welsh). Ample garden furniture is provided and there is also outdoor table tennis available. A BBQ and Chimnea for alfresco dining and warmth finish off the scene.

It's almost slap bang in the heart of Newport, but you'd be hard pressed to believe it once you are settled in. A few minutes walk from all the shops, eateries and galleries - yet hidden away in it's own private idyll.
