The accommodation and location
Once you've got over the views from the house and the garden, you just might notice that Abernyfer Beach House is situated right in the centre of Newport Sands Golf Course.
18 holes of Pembrokeshire's finest views over Newport Bay, Carningli Mountain, plus the Town of Newport itself - and with the house slap bang in the centre you'll get to enjoy those views for the whole length of your stay.
Inside the decor is modern contemporary. Large airy rooms surround you filled with artwork and sculptures.
As well as the sunroom with views, there's a separate living room too - both have wood burning stoves for those cooler winter nights.
There's a fully loaded kitchen with range cooker and a breakfast table under a partial glass roof.
A separate dining area is provided too - ideal for having friends over or a large family get together.
There are four bedrooms, three with king size beds and one with a super king plus an ensuite - all the bedrooms enjoy views to the sea.
There's even a copper roll top bath to enjoy.
Outside you'll find a raised patio area with a space for alfresco dining, a fire pit, and a BBQ. The large garden is laid to lawn with direct access onto the golf course and there are sun loungers for soaking up the evening sun before it sets into the Irish Sea right in front of you.
For all you beach lovers, there's an outside tap and hose to wash the wetsuits and beach paraphernalia, and don't forget to bring the boat! There's space to accommodate a trailer and 16ft boat, and with easy beach launching from Parrog at Newport - it's a beach lovers paradise.
