The Country Club
The Country Club and Caravan park is set within 22 acres of parkland gardens with far reaching sea views, a heated outdoor swimming pool, play areas and a fitness area with spectacular views.
There is also a lovely Clubhouse on site that serves refreshments and real ale’s with a beer garden which is open to the public.
This family owned and run Country Club has been helping people own their own holiday accommodation for over 35 years, and are proud to admit that most of their holiday home sales are through recommendations and word of mouth from their previous customers.
There are also 4 self-catering holiday cottages tucked away on-site too. Sleeping from 2 to 4 people, these make ideal bases for exploring and enjoying the whole of north Pembrokeshire.
A pop-up food wagon frequents the club at weekends, Friday and Saturday evening for burgers and also on Saturday and Sunday mornings with a breakfast menu. You are also very welcome to enjoy your food from the pop-up wagon in the club's bar area too.
From the club grounds, it's just a short walk into the village of Dinas Cross, where you will find a well stocked mini market, a fish and chip shop, cafe, two pubs and local artists. For the children, there is a park with swings, zip wire, and football nets, and if you head down to Pwllgwaelod beach you'll find a pub / restaurant overlooking the beach.
The closest beach which is also within walking distance is Cwm-yr-Eglwys, and boasts spectacular cliffs and views towards the north east coast of Pembrokeshire. There is also a small car park here and an ice cream kiosk during school holiday times.
Close by to the east is the gastro town of Newport with ample cafes and pubs, and to the west, the harbour town of Fishguard which is home to the nearest super-market.
