Coast & Wild

Fine art coastal themed prints studio / gallery by artist Noelle Pollington and designer Jon Jones

Coast & Wild are a husband and wife team creating stunning coastal themed fine art prints. These include an ever growing collection of pressed seaweed prints which Noelle forages from local north Pembrokeshire beaches. Once collected, they are washed and then pressed before being dried over a period of weeks. When dry, Jon digitises them so that they can be immortalised and used to produce their stunning range of seaweed art prints.

They also produce a series of vintage map prints of the north Pembrokeshire coast, these maps are highly detailed and contain many forgotten old Welsh names for promontories, inlets and rocks along the coast. The maps can be tailored to specific areas, and Jon has produced a series of maps that are stitched together, to produce much larger maps. He's also open to commissions covering other areas, and says that he has access to maps covering pretty much the whole of the UK.

Also on display at their studio, are a selection of coastal curio prints, that Jon has adapted to fit the Coast & Wild brand - the best known being his 'Map of Wales', made from a selection of Whale illustrations from the 1800s.
